Horizontal Bearing Capacity and Reliability of Piles in Coastal Soft Soil Considering the Time-Varying Characteristics

In order to study the influence of creep soft soil and corrosion damage reinforced concrete on horizontal bearing behavior piles, novel p-y curve model was established considering time-varying characteristics parameters. The attenuation law bending stiffness piles under chloride erosion analyzed by introducing reduction factor. limit state function pile reliability analysis then characteristics. index a displacement failure mode obtained using quadratic response surface method. Finally, sensitivity random variables (cohesion, internal friction angle, cover, concentration) carried out. distribution types parameters considered. results show that load-bearing horizontally loaded are impacted significantly soil. maximum increases nonlinearly with increase in service time. When occurs, variability angle has significant impact pile. decreases an obey extreme value type I distribution, corresponding is greater than log-normal normal distribution.
